OUR CRUISEPLUS REWARDS CREDIT CARD IS COMING SOON! We are very pleased to announce that early this Spring we will be launching a credit card program designed specifically for Canadians who love to cruise. Our basic message is that in today’s world of diluted airline point programs, you are better to save and redeem your points for cruising and buy the flights you really want! Our Credit card will offer the fastest track to free cruises and travel with 1 point for every dollar you spend by using your card on day to day purchases and 7 bonus points for every dollar you spend on your cruise fare. There will also be bonus points awarded for most packaged holidays and tours as well, but our focus is for cruising. Every day in the Vancouver Sun and Province newspapers (as well as other papers in Canada) you will see cruises with pre determined “bonus points” offered. By booking a cruise with us, applying for the card by May 31, 2008, being approved and activating your card you will receive these bonus points. If you deviate from any offer, every cruise we sell, on any cruise line, without restriction, will offer the 7 bonus points per dollar of the cruise fare. The points you earn (from using your credit card on day to day purchases and by booking cruises and other travel from us) can be redeemed for CruisePlus credits. Each 2500 points you earn can be redeemed for a $25 credit valid towards any travel we sell (including air, hotels, insurance, tours and of course cruises!) up to the total cost of your trip. The points will add up quickly and you are rewarded every time you book cruises, packaged holidays and tours from us. If you really use your card you can easily redeem for your whole trip - imagine getting a free cruise and free desirable flights too! You will hopefully notice in the newspapers that we are not just promoting Holland America Line anymore. While we still strive to maintain as the number one single location agency in Canada for them, we are pleased to expand our efforts with other cruise lines including Princess, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity to name a few. We always have sold all cruise lines, but understandably with our advertising most think we only sell Holland America. With our expanded support from other cruise lines and our membership in Ensemble Travel Group (which has over 1000 agencies and has great access to world wide tours, packaged holidays, cruises and more) we can be your one stop travel shop. While we do not have all the legal terms and conditions yet (we will at launch date) we are pre-promoting the credit card and the bonus points. Please read the interim abbreviated terms. When you apply for the card, we promise you will have all the terms you can ask for – they will be very similar to other credit card programs with the positive exceptions that you will earn points much faster and our annual fee is only $29 which is nearly $100 less than many other cards that offer less than ours. For those people that we simply cannot convince to sign up for the credit card we will offer other CruisePlus Rewards programs. For those who have signed up for our certificate program before today, those certificates will be honored as promised through December 31, 2008. The best value is unquestionably the credit card program, and we hope you do the math and conclude that it is well worth it to sign up. Effective January 20, 2008 any new clients will not be able to sign up for the “certificate program” but are welcomed either to sign up for the card or to book as a “non cardholder” CruisePlus Rewards member. No matter which option you choose, we promise to give you excellent cruise value and service. Please ask your CruisePlus agent for complete details. I am sure that if you are planning to cruise at least once every couple of years that you will agree that the CruisePlus Rewards credit card is a darn good deal. We have been working on this for around 18 months and we are pleased to offer Canada’s first real travel credit card truly geared and focused towards cruisers! We’d like to remind you that our sales people do not receive commission. We act as a team and we welcome you to talk to any of our staff. With the many travel options in the world, not every agent can claim to know everything. With our combined efforts (and the fact that we’ve been to all 7 continents) please talk to an agent that is most knowledgeable in the destinations or suppliers you are considering. You certainly may talk to your previous agent if you like, but please realize that you will hurt no–ones feelings if you speak with someone else in our office.
